A professional USB PIC Programmer kit from Cana offering ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) sockets which allows easy PIC programming. The PIC Programmer makes use of a USB port which can be connected to the computer unlike in the early days of micro controller programming when the serial port was the only available port. This new method benefits in such a way that you don’t need a separate power supply since the kit is powered through the USB port directly.

The Cana PIC Programmer kit is 100% compatible with PicKit2 interface, but it is very much advanced than PicKit2 because it makes use of ZIF sockets enabling you to easily insert and remove PIC microcontrollers.

The full compatibility with Microchip’s MPLAB IDE because it appears as the original PicKit2 makes it possible to program all popular PIC Microcontrollers such as the PIC16F84, PIC16F628, PIC18F458 and PIC16F877.

A windows based standalone programming software fully supported by Microchop is included with the kit.
